Business Development Manager

Role (Purpose of the job)

The Business Development Manager is responsible for the driving and executing of the business development activities in all means of VFS China

Key Responsibility

  • Develop improvement plans to drive customer mind-set focus in service offering for ease of doing business
  • Corporate with the counter part of BA to explore the market breakthrough strategies by providing Total Offer, integrated point of sale initiatives as well as marketing communication activities
  • Develop business analysis for new growth opportunities and drive products and programs development to support VFS be the Provider of Choice for Volvo customers and dealers
  • Develop business proposals for cross-functional projects and structure new product
  • Facilitate product commercialization and follow up with the utilization
  • Ensure cross functional internal alignment to support business objectives
  • Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives
  • Co-develop long term/midterm goals for business growth
  • Conduct primary market research activities and analyze for business needs
  • Lead, co-plan, coordinate and track actions to ensure agreed timelines are met
  • Elevate customer and dealers satisfactions
  • Ad-hoc assignment as needed

Main Competence Requirements
  • Good business acumen and good knowledge / understanding of financial services industry
  • Good strategic planning and analytical skills as well as holistic thinking
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact and influence at all levels both internally and externally
  • Result-driven and commercially driven, while building foundations for long term business relations
  • Knowledge and ability of finance modelling, forecasting
  • Self-motivated and willing to take responsibility

References

  • 3 years working experience in finance industry or finance related position
  • Excellent in both of Chinese & English, both written and verbal
  • Excellent English presentation skills
  • Good at Microsoft Office Tools (PPT, Word, Excel, etc)
